Hello Barbara, so pleased that you are at home..............There Is No Place Like Home.

I really hope that the doctors were right and you will be able to have another go at the Enbrel.

You sound so positive so thats half of the battle done.

I bet they've given you a new name at the hospital.............Barbara the boomerang....they keep letting you go and you just keep going back!!!!!!

Sorry I missed you call last week, I was sunning myself in Norfolk.

Speak to you soon.

Take Care

Welcome home Barbara!! I hope you stay at home this time, and feel better soon. Make the most of your servants, sorry, carers!

Hope Kerala comes off for you.

Well done for escaping! Hope you continue to be well. I like the sound of the Retreat. Have you been there before?

Thank you all for the encouraging supportThumpUp

Paula, yes I do feel like a boomerang and this week I am hoping to stay out of hospitalThumpUp

Had a bit of a nightmare of a week: had to call the doc out twice, once during the day, and again during Wednesday night, and just can't seem to keep much down!

On the plus side, I have lovely carers coming in twice a day. Today ladies I had a very handsome young male carer who made me blusch[wub,] and was young enough to be my son! Well, I was not expecting male carers and didn't know what to think when he came to get me out of bed and washed. I guess as I had not made any special requests on cultural or religious grounds I can't complain, I just felt a tad uncomfortable with my old decaying fat body! On the plus side, I am their youngest clientThumpUp

If I am not on regularly, I am still thinking of you all and hoping all is going well. Have a lovely weekend,

love,

Barbara

Hi Barbara

Just a quick message to say how pleased I am that you are back home again at last. What a horrible time you're having and I only hope recent problems are soon going to be a thing of the past and you start to feel better very quickly.

I will chat longer once I've caught up and fixed my laptop. For some reason it's over heating all the time and keeps switching off. So I have to type fast, not easy, and post quickly otherwise I lose it!!!
Speak soon

Hi Barbara

You poor thing you really are going through it, hope the sickness has come to an end, and on the mend a little for the weekend.

Sending my best wishes.

Dear Barbara,

So pleased to see your post and to read of your positivity. I do hope you continue to get stronger and that you are able to try the Enbrel (or a different type of anti TNF) again. I remember when I had to come off all meds for a while, the pain was terrible and so I guess you are living on pain-killers. I've got my fingers and toes virtually crossed for you and am sending the most positive vibes I can muster !

I'm still in a cast RollEyes Should have been 'released' from it after 3 months, but it has not completely healed so a new one (purple this time) was applied and I have another 6 weeks of itching to endure ThumbDown But then all will be well (more finger crossing) and I should be able to drive again after they have got my ankle working.

Take care of yourself and enjoy being 'looked after'.

Warmest wishes, Ann

Thinking of you Barbara.
Get lots of rest....just lay back and give out the orders!
As for the young male carer, well you need another carer to get you glammed up before he arrives!LOL

Lots of love, Doreen xx

My thoughts are with you Barbara - I never realised you were still so seriously ill and that things haven't really stabalised that much. Was it the Norovirus that hit you? Will be sending as many positive thoughts your way as is possible. You are such a positive person you are a shining example to us all. I hope you manage to have a good weekend. Take care.

Julie xx
